I
will portray this scene in a comedic way. Mr. Collins will be in the drawing
room. Mrs. Bennet will be insisting that Elizabeth stays to hear Mr. Collins
proposal. He will propose to her, saying that he has been eyeing her and
gives her three reasons why (nothing of which has to do with Elizabeth).
Elizabeth will then politely reject the proposal and then Collins will suggest
that she most likely will change her mind and she begs him to believe her that
she will indeed stay firm with her refusal.
