iPads

There are some things that I really like about the iPad. For example, today I discovered “stickies” used for annotating books with the Kno app and I think that this is a really effective way to annotate. I think that using these stickies will be easier than handwriting my annotations. I also really like that I can carry an ipad around vs. a computer because the iPad is easier to carry because it is smaller; that way, I can access Net Classroom from wherever I am. One suggestion for using the iPad in class is if you had us all turn to that page so that we can kind of slow down and follow along with what you are talking about. Other than that, this is a “pilot course” so I think that it will just take time to figure out what works and what doesn’t work.
